Even if the whole Martin and Tisha mess never happened, I don’t believe the show would’ve lasted beyond Season 5 or even a Season 6. Martin Lawrence’s fame was skyrocketing, and typically when sitcom actors start to blow up doing movies they’re ready to leave which is always a red flag for the show’s future. Look @ shows like The Office - Steve Carell left, the show didn’t last much longer. Ashton Kutcher left That 70s Show during what ended up being the final season anyway, and prior to that Topher Grace (Eric) left the year before.
